Overview
The Centra – nShift integration keeps shipment data in sync between both platforms in near real-time. The flow is bidirectional: shipments initiated in Centra are pushed to nShift for carrier handling, and status updates from nShift are written back to Centra.
What gets synced:
Centra → nShift: Shipments
nShift → Centra: Shipments (tracking updates, carrier status)
How data flows:
- When a shipment is created in Centra, Junipeer transmits the relevant data to nShift, where carrier assignment and label generation can take place
- When nShift updates a shipment record (e.g. tracking number, delivery status), those changes are pushed back into Centra
- During setup, field mapping covers carrier preferences, shipping rules, and tracking configuration
- A test sync validates the setup before the integration goes live
- Once active, synchronization runs continuously in the background
Setup:
Connecting both systems takes approximately 15 minutes via Junipeer's configuration interface. No custom code or API knowledge is required.
