Overview
The Consignation module lets you manage consignment partnerships directly in Centra — so you stay in control of your stock until it actually sells.
Consignment means you send goods to a retail partner, but retain ownership until the items are sold. The retail partner reports back what they've sold, and you invoice them for only those items. The Consignation module handles this entire workflow efficiently.
Link a consignment warehouse to any B2B account and transfer stock to your retail partner through internal transfer orders that are automatically excluded from your Dashboard and Reports — keeping your sales data clean. When it's time to invoice, select the consignee's warehouse, enter the sold quantities, and create the invoice. Centra automatically connects the invoice to the original shipment(s) the products were sent in and decreases the consignee's warehouse stock accordingly.
No manual shipment tracking, no disconnected invoices — just a clean, end-to-end consignment flow. Consignation is a stock management tool — transfer orders and invoices are handled within the module, so your regular order flow stays unaffected.
